Architecture Notes is an archive of information, sketches and knowledge that I have discovered as an emerging architect. The information is usually related to technical detailing and construction materials and methods. As opposed to writing about design theory, this interest in the practical performance stems from my development as a technical architect in a large commercial architecture firm. I look forward to finding new innovations in architecture that I might write about here. Some things I’ll look for include: Sustainable and green building innovations, Building Information Modeling advancements, new construction materials, life safety for high rise construction and anything else that relates to a performance focused architecture.

Alan –
I’ve spent only 2 minutes on your website and have emailed a link to everyone I know.
Your site is out-of-control awesome and I will be checking it out everyday. I would like to thank you in advance for everything I am set to learn and refer to as I study to become licensed.
Great work!
Ali
